We are based at the award winning Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St. Peter's, which is on the banks of the River Wear.
Since 1996, we have worked on 26 national and EU-funded research and development projects with 96 partners from across the globe.
Our grid computer operates as a close-coupled cluster and has a number of potential application areas including graphics rendering, computational fluid dynamics, network simulation and performance testing.
The Centre for Internet Technologies operated from 2000 until November 2016. We would like to thank our project partners past and present for their support.
The Centre for Internet Technologies is proud to have links with several high profile computing organisations and institutions. Read more about our academic sponsors »
